Kelantan Malay Transport Company (or Syarikat Kenderaan Melayu Kelantan - SKMK) provides city bus services which charges according to intended zones of destination. City bus stations in Kota Bharu Bandar Raya Islam can be found at 2 locations: at Jalan Pendek and near Muhammadi Mosque (Kampung Kraftangan).

Besides the city bus, taxi service is also available at a rate of RM4.00 for every 30 kilometers. The taxi stations are also found at two locations: at Car Rental/Taxi Union at Jalan Doktor (+609-7447104) and at Rental Car Drivers Welfare Union (or Persatuan Kebajikan Drebar Kereta Sewa) at Jalan Pendek (+609-7481386).
